Thugs have broken into Pride Micro Finance Bank Bweyale branch in Kiryandongo district.
The thugs stole three computers and unspecified amount of money. The thugs who gained entrance into the bank on Wednesday night through the behind door also destroyed closed circuit Television Camera-CCTV Camera.
Julius Hakiza the Albertine region police spokesperson says that the two security guards had gone to watch a football match at the time the thugs broke into the bank.
According to Hakiza, the guards who he refused to disclose their identity have been arrested and are currently being detained at Kiryandongo central police station pending interrogation.
He says preliminary investigations show that the thugs could have connived with the guards to access the bank.
